The flavor of the food was very good although I was suprised that I had to order hot sauce for my meal and they didnt have anything home made. Just a bottle of sauce that needed a good cleaning. It had been refilled many times as the lable was peeling off and it was covered in someone elses meal. The bad part was my food was cold. Not even room tempature, not even warm. Nothing worse than a cold burrito. Not even the outside was hot. You can also by pass the guecamole as mine came out almost black in color. Thats a sign that it was made earlier. I had the refried beans and the flavor was 5 stars, but the portion was about a 1/2 spoon full. An inexpensive item to make and they gave you just a small amount. Did I mention the 1/2 spoonfull of rice. They should have kept that in the kitchen. Also my burrito was $16.50 which for this place is over priced. We did not have a coupon and paid full price. Maybe their prices are higher to cover the cost of the coupon? Our waiter seemed to struggle to keep up with the crowd although it was busy there were only 2 to 6 people waiting at the door for a seat, so for this place not that busy. The waitress seemed on the ball and I wish we had been lucky enough to get her instead of our waiter. My guest had a taco salad with shredded chicken that they were very happy with. The portions are large so you get a lot of food for your money. The salsa is good but again, no hot sauce in the salsa... No way you can call this authentic mexican food. I have been to Mexico many times and usually you have to ask for Gringo hot... Food 2 stars ( and this is genourse only because they had good flavor) Cleanliness 2 1/2 stars Ambiance 3 stars Service 2 1/2 stars Value 1 1/2 stars although If you had the coupon I would say 3 stars

HOLY WET BURRITO! after seeing the tip on Yelp - I just had to order the vegetarian wet burrito. I did my best to eat every last bite but the portions are HUGE. I would go back every week if I could. Also, they give you chips and salsa to enjoy as soon as you sit down. Indoor/outdoor seating available!

As we locals referred to it... The purple Mexican place. Excellent food. Absolutely LOVE their homemade nachos and freshly made salsa. I've had just about everything on the menu over the years and only maybe twice ordered something that wasn't my taste. The staff is friendly and usually very efficient. Only once when we sat outside did we have an off day with the service. Other than that, no complaints. Definitely recommend it to locals and snowbirds alike.

My dad and mom have been raving about this place since last year, probably a main reason they Came back to FT Myers. FOOD WAS AMAZING and big portions. Don't expect to finish it in one sitting. Why should you? Let it last a few days it only gets better. I enjoyed a burrito and the chicken was incredibly flavorful(also shredded) food was excellent. No complaints here :) Service was also speedy :-P

Visited while on vacation. I love Mexican food, this place was ok. They offer free chips and salsa. Chips were great, salsa was lacking a bit of spice... or somethin'. Our order: fish tacos, carne asada tacos, burrito. Comments from party: fish tacos lacked taste, so did the carne asada. Burrito was really good. Food took a while to come out. Service was good overall. The restaurant is decorated nicely, very "what you would expect a Mexican place would look like if you are American". Not a bad experience over all, also not a great one.

The building is neat and tidy on the outside so I decided to ignore the bad reviews and give it a shot. I visited on a Thursday evening and didn't have an issue with getting seated or service. Inside was just as neat and tidy as the outside. Things looked clean to me so I'm not sure what was going on when others had issues. Food arrived promptly. I had fajitas. They didn't arrive sizzling in a skillet but they were hot and tasty. My friend had carne asada he's Honduran and eats there often. He said he's never had a bad meal there. Before I left the place had almost filled up. It looked as though people were seated and waited on promptly. I overheard the lady seated behind me tell the waitress that her meal was excellent. I'm a little puzzled at all the negative reviews now because I expected that I would be disappointed and I really wasn't. Again it's a cute little restaurant and it looks like the owners and employees take pride in the place. I returned for another meal here and again it was very good. Had a relleno that was excellent. I really don't get the negative reviews.

Five years ago this was the first restaurant we visited and loved it. I'm not sure what has happened, but their service and taste of their food has gone downhill. The fajitas, which were my favorite, are delivered warm at best. They should be delivered in a skillet to keep hot. We tried one more time and I have decided I will never go there again. Since their chicken quesadilla was good that my son ordered, will give them a 3.

Very good little Mexican restaurant! Can get extremely busy, but the staff are always very friendly, and accommodating to each table. I've eaten here several times, and have never once experienced a rude staff member. If you point out any "flaw" in the order, they will not only be eager to make it right, they will usually find a way to comp you for the mishap, without you even asking them to.

This is possibly the worst Mexican food I have ever had ! The steak they use I would not feed to my dog. The place is dirty , overpriced and to top it all off the service is terrible . Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

So, you want to walk into the kitchen to grab your own extra plates? This is your place. Is that our two pitchers of beer left on the railing getting warm for 20 minutes? This is your place. Ask four times for your side dish each time the server comes back, yup this is it! The beer is cheap and so is the food. The food is pretty good, so it saves this place from a terrible two. Five of us drank a few pitchers, and ate dinner for $85. Nice! But be prepared for service you can't comprehend!

Oh Lord! If I could give NEGATIVE 5 stars, this would be a place that would receive them without a second thought. The food was so bland and absolutely disgusting. I ordered a beef fajita burrito. What I got was some sort of gooey what I think was supposed to be flour tortilla wrapped around slime that looked like they had scraped it straight out of the mud and water collecting on the sides of the road. They also tossed (and yes, they tossed it) packets of sour cream on the table for me to have on my (what I loosely call) burrito slop. What The Hell?! The chips were stale and the salsa was just atrocious. The staff is not attentive and they act as if they are being put out by you even showing up. This is NOT NOT NOT NOT authentic Mexican food, by any means. Please, save yourselves.... do NOT eat here.

Not good stuff here. The salsa is a strange tomato water, and it is straight up tex mex which advertises as authentic. I'm not against tex mex (love the stuff), but don't misrepresent yourself. The big margarita is big- that adds a whole star itself. I don't dig this place, and it's another notch in the belt of mediocrity for Mexican food in Fort Myers.

After reading some of the reviews online, I'm wondering if the people who wrote bad reviews were at the same La Casita I frequent. I live about 20 minutes away and my friend lives right up the road from La Casita. Its our go to place for lunch and a beer. I've only eaten inside once and as I recall I had the wet burrito and it was delicious and there was enough of it to bring home for another meal. We usually seat ourselves on the patio and in under a minute a smiling server is out there taking our drink order. She arrives back with fresh nacho chips and very good salsa, our beers and then takes our food order. Service is quick and we've never been ignored or left to sit without someone coming out to acknowledge us. The tubes of sour cream bother me not at all.

Not very good for us. Ordered food to go & timed it so we could eat & watch the sunset.. Arrived when food should have been ready but it was not! Waited an extra 1/2 hour..listening to every worker speak Spanish. No one bothered to ask if I wanted a drink.. no discount for their delay. The food was just OK... I had chicken burrito & was not impressed.. hardly any chicken.. they only have 1 salsa & I didn't care for it. Will not go there again..not worth my time or money

This is defintely Tex-Mex, not the kind of food one is served in Mexico. The sign in front advertises authentic Mexican food. I would not be surprised if the owner and cooks have never been in Mexico. My three companions would give it four stars. I give it three. The chips were good, the table salsa was good though watery. The drinks are massive as one commentator noticed. When I complained that the bottle of hot sauce on the table was not hot, the waitress brought me a bowl of muy picante habanero hot sauce - perfect. I had basil chicken. I didn't taste any basil. I received a generous helping of shredded chicken of high quality with minmal spicing, and very small portions of beans and rice. For some strange reason, it all seemed a little watery. We received friendly, excellent service. I suggest dumping the table salsa and some of the habanero sauce on your dinner to give it flavoring. My wife had chicken in diablo (means devil) sauce and enjoyed it very much. The only diablo sauce I have previously consumed has been burning hot. This was mild. All in all, I would suggest that if you don't like hot (picante) or highly spiced food but appreciate generous portions of meat and drink, you would like this place. The restaurant was filled but not at all noisy. Parking is never a problem.

My wife and I stopped going to La Casita years ago due to the poor service and mediocre, unauthentic, and overpriced food. However, for some reason my sister and her family continued to dine there until recently. Her 5 year old daughter has Celiac disease which is a gluten (wheat) intolerance. When eating there the other night they ordered a dish that the menu said came with corn tortillas. However, after eating some of the food they realized that my niece had been served the dish with flour tortillas. When they asked the waitress about this she replied that more people like flour tortillas so they quit serving the item with corn tortillas even though the menu hasn't been changed. Two hours later my niece was throwing up and having diarrhea and continued to do so throughout the night. The night of the incident management did nothing to make the situation right, nothing was comped and no apology was given. I called the next day and asked the manager if the menu could be updated to reflect the change to this item. He said that my family should have been more careful and that it's too much trouble and too expensive to change 300 menus. When I suggested that this incident could have been more serious and that they're opening themselves to possible legal liability in the future he said that's why they have a lawyer. I was shocked by how poorly this was handled. Prior to this incident I would have given La Casita a low rating but this occurrence combined with our already poor opinion of the food and service at La Casita is what compelled me to write this review and give them the lowest possible rating. If you want Mexican food in Fort Myers there are far better choices. Please do yourself and everyone a favor by not dining at La Casita.

This is the best Mexican in Fort Myers. I am a big fan of their competitors on US 41, but their food is clearly better. If they had better Margaritas, this would be the clear winner. I had the beef Chimichangas, which were awesome. My husband and father both had tacos, which they loved. My father had a special order and they were more than happy to accommodate. Great food for a great price.

My parents love this place and I'd be a bigger fan of it If I like Mexican food more. Everything is really fresh and tasty. My favorite meal is the tacos. The fare is more central Mexican, than the Tex-Mex the area is used to. They've got beer and wine, and like a lot of restaurants make a wine based margarita, though I haven't tried it.

I don't think I can adequately convey how horrible the food is here. The salsa may have been made with tomato paste, water and parsley. The cheese dip had a grainy texture and off taste. Velveeta dip is 100 times better and I don't really like Velveeta. The ground beef tacos (which were ordered in the hope that the could not mess that up) was greasy and literally poor quality hamburger without any seasoning. The wet burrito looked like some sort of decaying road kill. And it looked better than it tasted. The sauce was like ketchup mixed with vegetable oil with a filling of chicken soup with frozen corn and maybe it was pimento. I really don't believe the people running this are Mexican. Save your money and eat elsewhere. Really, it would be better to fast than ingest the food here.

Are you sure you are writing a review for the correct place? La Casita is a consistent must on my list every time I come back down to Ft Myers. I lived in the area for four years, and still love it just as much. It is not fancy, super slow service, but nice wait staff, genuine Mexican food, and delicious Sangria. I feel terrible people don't like this place, it's one of my favorites!

Was good. Good size portions. Pretty Authentic. Salsa needs some work, more like pico de gallo. Sangria is good. Service is really slow. They have no system whatsoever. They need a manager and/or a hostess too to keep things moving.

I love this place. It's a cute little Mexican restaurant with nice waiters/waitresses. I've never had any problems and I've been coming here for the past few years. The food is great and the sangria is good too. I love going on Wednesdays to get the tamale special.

I cannot understand the terrible reviews for this little gem of a restaurant. We have been there several times and the food has been delicious. The outside is eye-catching - painted purple with yellow trim. You can't miss it driving down Mac Gregor. It has always been clean inside when we visited. There is often a wait which should indicate that it is a popular place. We have ordered several different things from the menu and have never been disappointed. Maybe the negative reviews think "real " Mexican food is supposed to taste like Taco Bell or Don Pablo's.

Chips and salsa are great. Service is ok at best, however the burritos are probably one of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth. All of our entrees were beyond horrible. As far as authentic, this place couldn't be further from. We have better, more authentic Mexican places in the Midwest. Good for drinks and chips and nothing beyond that. Indoor seating is small, if parking lot looks full the inside is beyond packed.

No stars. Worst than my dog's food. I really tried to like it but service stunk and the food was worse. Worst food ever. Sorry for everyone who eats there. Not sure about all the good reviews? Where did they eat?

Service is HORRIBLE. No designated tables for waitstaff. They give you large beverages because they know they won't come back to you.

Really enjoy the food here and atmosphere. Don't come in expecting a smooth ride. It's a local place. Which means some times the roof is leaking into a bucket in the middle of the dining room, but the food is good. I get a burrito when I am there. Decent ingredients and a large portion. A warning: don't fill up on chips. That being said you probably will. Service is sometimes slow. And honestly it bugs me that the staff doesn't have their own tables. Instead they all share duties.

My husband and I recently moved to Florida from So Cal, where great Mexican food abounds! So we were eager to find some good Mexican here in FL. This place is about a mile up the street from us and I'd been dying to try it, even if just for the absolute cuteness of the building itself...a little purple house! We went on a Sunday evening and it was packed. The guy in front of us was told he'd have at least a 20 minute wait so, we decided to sit outside on the patio rather than wait. The hostess and waiter were both Hispanic, which I took as a good sign. Considering how busy they were, I found them to be polite and attentive. I ordered steak fajita's and my husband ordered a wet carnitas burrito. My fajita's were pretty good and, based on them I was going to give 3 stars but, my husband didn't eat all of his burrito so I had the leftovers the following day and it was delicious! The pork was so tender and just the right amount of gooey cheesiness, yum! Next time I'm definitely getting a wet burrito! The food was much like we'd get in styrofoam to go containers in So Cal, only you get to eat it in a cute little purple house! The tube of sour cream didn't bother me too much, I do have an issue with why nobody in FL makes homemade guacamole! That would've made a huge difference for me and it's not hard to make!

We'd not been back to La Casita in some time. As one of us had a coupon, we went one Monday evening, four of us, were seated immediately and enjoyed a pretty pleasant meal. I agree with one reviewer...the sour cream out of a packet isn't a good thing. My taco salad did not come in a large shell nor on a bed of chips...instead it was topped with some fried tortilla pieces. If I went back, I'd ask for more of those. The tacos were quite good, according to one of our party. When we left, the place was packed, someone already waiting for the table we vacated.

The food was delicious and the service was very good. My husband and I had tacos with rice and refried beans. The taco shells appeared to be homemade and were very tasty. Their salsa also was made with fresh ingredients. I ate only one taco so I could try one of their desserts. My husband and I split the Flouer Bueno- a fried tortilla shell in the shape of a flower with cinnamon and sugar, with a heaping mound of vanilla ice cream, with a glaze on top like you see on cinnamon buns. It tasted like a crispy warm cinnamon bun with ice cream. So awesome!

Good service, very attentive staff. Food was delicious and fresh. We absolutely did not think it was "dry or tasteless"- was not spicy at all but there is hot sauce at every table. Margaritas were just ok. Atmosphere is very casual and family friendly.

We went Saturday at about 4:30. The place was nearly full. I had the enchiladas salsa verde, yummmm! My girlfriend had the special which was the chile relleno. Both arrived within 15 minutes and were hot, fresh and delicious. We will definitely go back. We had enough left over for lunch on Sunday.

This is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. Certainly the best I've been to in Fort Myers. Far superior, I believe, to Iguana Mia on US #41 which is just a bit too corporate for me. This place has excellent service and very good ambiance. We were there for lunch on a Friday in July and every table and booth was occupied. Not bad for off season. We had the Fajitas with steak and the Mexican Platter. Both were excellent and in large quantities, so we had some left over to take home. I highly recommend this place.

I love this place, it's a small restaurant and is always packed with locals (which is a good sign) and the food is authentic. Chips and salsa are very fresh and probably the best in town. Love the homemade chicken soup for takeout when I'm sick. Menu is great no matter what you get!

This is the only place where they serve real Mexican food in Fort Myers. Except for the beans, which they can leave off the plates, the food is delicious. Portions are big! Family operated.

Quality of food is bad, $13 for a soggy enchilada with frozen corn and canned vegetable filling. The rice was soaked in an mysterious, odd tasting bright orange grease that left my lips oily after only 1 bite. We left our plates with most of the food still there of course, the un-attentive staff did not even ask if we wanted to take it home, probably because they knew it wasn't worth it. I feel totally cheated out of $28 + an unearned tip for a few bad bites of , dare I say, "food." I agree with the reviewer who said this town doesn't have a palate. Now that I have hopefully warned a few people, I have to go cook a real dinner. I'm starving!

If I could give a zero I would! Having family in town for the holidays we decided to go out for lunch. Arriving around 1:30 in the afternoon we weren't even greeted when we walked through the door. This should've been our 1st warning. Finally, I asked the woman wiping the tables off if we could get a table for 5. No smile, no response, she kept wiping the tables. After 5 minutes & watching servers walk by us without acknowledging we were even standing there; I asked the same woman again for a table for 5. She wants to put us in a booth which barely seats 4 ppl. There were 4 other tables right in front of us; so I asked if we could put two of those together? She sucked her teeth, rolled her eyes & proceeded to put the tables together. Than she threw the menus on the table; still no smile & we went & sat down. After sitting there a few minutes, another table of 5 come through the door. There was no problem putting the two tables next to us together for them right away. While they were standing at the doorway, a single man walks through the door & proceeds to a booth. By the way there's a sign that says "wait to be seated". The woman who was so rude to us during our arrival minutes before; (Alexa; she claims her name was) went to the single mans table & smiled & started giving him service. The other table of 5 got sat & after a few minutes she started waiting on them also. Meanwhile; were sitting here at our table for at least 10 minutes & nobody has even walked up & greeted us. I go over to Alexa while she's at the computer & ask her why she is waiting on both of those tables when we arrived 1st. No response; just a glare from her as if I have 3 heads. We finally did get a server who was nice; the food was less than average, overcooked, over salted. To be honest; it probably tasted worse than it actually was due to the way Alexa (if that's her name) made us feel. What's truly amazing is that no manager ever came to the table! I've heard they have great food & was looking forward to dining here. It's a true shame because this was our first visit to La Casita. I would not recommend dining here.

We asked several locals about a "good Mexican restaurant in the area." Two of three recommended La Casita. We found beyond the Friday night wait, a nice dining experience provided by a small local eatery. Not great, but good. Service was good after we were seated, chicken burrito and fajitas were above average. Chips and salsa very good and to echo other comments, don't fill up on them before dinner. Bottom line nice place to eat, if you are prepared for a short wait.

We find the food great at La Casita. Mexican food is varied through the Southwest and Mexico. How many places serve fresh Salsa. If you have ever made fresh Salsa you will find that it it is watery (reaction of salt on fresh tomatoes). Most of the food in Mexico and the southwest is not as good as the food at La Casita. Mexican food is like Chinese and Italian food, it is different region to region. Enjoy the food.

La Casita specializes in authentic Meh-xican food. Since moving here I've been dying to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant. I'm sorry to say, the search continues. I had the steak quesadilla and my wife had the chicken chimichanga. I was hoping to see items on the menu like cabasa or lengua tacos (which I LOVE) but no dice. Our meal arrives with squeeze packets of sour cream. Not the kind of thing I want to see on my plate when I'm paying too much for a quesadilla. That squeeze packet was the visual equivalent of what to expect the meal to taste like. Everything was soggy and tasted like it had been boiled. The meal was totally forgettable and cost too much for what we got. It's like La Casita put very little thought into their flavors or presentation. They must think people will eat anything and maybe they're right if this place stays open. Maybe they were having an off night but I'm not willing to take a gamble on a repeat visit.

Had an early dinner there last Sunday. It was OK. Like other reviewers have stated. the service kind of sucks. Our server had zero personality and certainly did or said nothing to make us feel welcome or that our business mattered to her. There was no hostess or visible sign of management. As others have remarked, we were surprised when she practically threw the paper packet of sour cream on the table after serving our entrees. The salsa was home made and good and the chips tasted fresh. The Negra Modelo (on tap!) was cold and tasted great. The enchiladas, beans and rice were OK, but certainly nothing to rave about. When the waitress didn't ask if we wanted dessert, I should have taken this as a clue, Unfortunately I ordered a flan to share. I love flan, but this was the absolute worst flan I have ever tasted. It was horribly overcooked and possibly left over which resulted in a practically inedible rubbery mass. Oh yes, my wife wants to add that they are overpriced for what you get.

The food was terrific at this great local place. I had the carne asada which was terrific and my bf had the tuesday special, a pulled pork variation. Appetizer was guacamole. You can pick the size you want (we picked 8 oz). They had wine, beer, soft drinks and something called wine based tequila margarita. Portions were good size and many including us took leftovers home. Will definitely go back. Have to say many people who reviewed this place complained about the service but we found it to be good. The place was packed with a crowd waiting to get in. Even when we left at 8:30 there was still quite a crowd waiting.

A great little place to stop in for lunch. Their chips and salsa were scrumptious! I say pass on ordering the queso. There wasn't anything spectacular about it. We mixed in some salsa and some hot sauce and it was better. I had the chicken quesadillas which were much bigger than the typical quesadillas I'm used to. They were very tasty and full of fresh ingredients. My boyfriend ordered the bistec mexicano and was very pleased with his meal. He said he would definitely order it again. It's a quaint little restaurant with friendly staff, reasonable prices, and good food. I'll definitely be back!

Stop, enough of the haters. This place has the best Mexican around. Authentic, fresh, hot and tasty. Not heavy or overdone and certainly not from a box or can. Staff is kind and they work hard. Excellent food and value. Complimentary homemade tortilla's and superb homemade salsa. The potato Tolupa's were a cheap appetizer, yet were big enough for a meal. 2x large diet Pepsi , a big basket of tortilla chips, a bowl of salsa, 3 large potato Tolupa's with sour cream, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and hot sauce, a side of guacamole ( homemade and delicious) and the bill was $7.95!! I will make a point of coming here again to try a main course.

We were pleasantly surprised with this Mexican restaurant. We were on Sanibel for a few days and I had been craving Mexican food. The Captiva Cantina the night before had been packed and the hostess was rude as can be, so we checked yelp and this was the closest with decent reviews. Went there tonight for about the 6th time in the last 5 months and the food was excellent. The chimichangas were light and fluffy filled with fresh tender chicken breast (not canned) meat. The hard tacos were also overstuffed with tender shredded beef and not alot of room for the cheese and lettuce- which is the way they should be- and the service was quick and very attentive.Salsa was fresh and beers were filled before you had to ask.Maybe they can tell when locals come in cause it seems all the bad reviews are from people from up north, who probably would not know what authentic Mexican tastes like since they all think it should be like some chain restaurant. In my 28 years down here they are definitely one the top 3 in real authentic- which means simple Mexican- restaurants.P.S. I grew up in San Diego so I think I know real Mexican food.

Really...I don't think anyone has a palate in this town. C'mon...I went last week and had two mexican restaurant staples- traditional enchiladas and carnitas. The carnitas was the better dish, the pork was tender but had no flavor. I don't think they even salted the meat, seriously- pork needs SALT!! I'm not the type to ever salt a prepared dish but I was reaching for the shaker here. Enchiladas were inedible, chewy chicken and red sauce that tasted like tomato paste. I haven't been to the competitor that is mentioned in other reviews of this restaurant, but I don't see how they could be any worse. I am still looking for the hole-in-wall Mexican spot here, because this was not it!

The food here is great! They start off by giving you fresh pico de gallo with tortilla chips which was pretty good. The portion of each meal was definitely fulfilling. I barely could finish my plate which was a first although I did order their Mexican Platter. The frozen strawberry margaritas were really good and very strong. I wasn't really fond of the sour cream in packets. I honestly have never seen that before. Not even at a Taco Bell.Other then that, it was a great time. I would go back again.

We visited La Casita Friday night after I had a strong craving for authentic Mexican food. Due to the shape and layout of the building I am pretty sure that La Casita is in an old Long John Silvers restaurant. When walking to the building I could see an outside seating area but choose to be seated inside. The restaurant was about 40% full at 7pm, but we still had to wait for a few minutes for a greeting. Finally a young lady led us to a table without a word and slapped down two menus. We did not see or hear from anyone else for what seemed to be 10 minutes because we were hungry, but was probably really only 5. We waited a while longer for our drinks; a soda and a margarita. The margarita had to be sent back....it was a dirty brown color served in a daiquiri glass tasting of salt and a little bit of sugar. In short, it was terrible. I opted for a water instead. The chips and salsa as an appetizer were okay, not much flavor unless you like plain tomatoes though. I ordered the soft steak tacos which came with an authentic soft shell and was topped with cilantro. It was a tad dry, but mostly good. I only finished one because I wanted more salsa to put on it hoping to combat the dryness, but after the food was served the waiter never came back to the table. As a matter of fact, I had to get my own take home box and then go up the the register to get my own bill, which was about $28.00 for the two of us Remember that we had no alcohol (since I returned the icky margarita) so it was a but pricey compared to other Mexican restaurants I have tried. Remembering the lack of service, I tipped accordingly. The best bet with this restaurant is to get take out as the food is okay if you don't want Taco Bell, but the service is pretty much non-existent.

Great customer service! Our waiter was extremely bubbly and nice. The Stuffed Pablano Pepper with chicken was excellent; along with the Margahrita. They catered to children very well! Just a little pricey. We will definately be coming back!

Food is just okay. Service is just okay. I guess it is just okay.

Good Mexican food and a lot of it. The salsa is home made and excellent. A little pricey for a Mexican restaurant. Very noisy.

Travelled from out of town with family of 4 and all of us were pleasantly pleased. Food was brought out quickly and prepared just right. The atmosphere was also done in good taste. Would go again! Rich :-)

I love this place, it's a small restaurant and is always packed with locals (which is a good sign) and the food is authentic. Chips and salsa are very fresh and probably the best in town. Love the homemade chicken soup for takeout when I'm sick. Menu is great no matter what you get!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
